Here you can find information on the bot I currently run for winbolo. I just wanted to list here some of the functions as a help. Currently sheepbot resides on #winbolo on irc.winbolo.us.

You can get the same information (maybe more recently updated) by typing sheepbot help to Sb.

The latest funcationality is: mapcount (Jan 28, 2004)

map [mapname] (for pw strict game)

mapo [mapname] (for no pw open game)*

mapt [mapname] (for pw tourny game)*

mappt [mapname] (for no pw tourny game)*

mapp or maps [mapname] (for no pw strict game)*

pwmap custom-password [mapname].

This allows people to upload their new maps automatically.

To upload a new map, DCC the map to Sheepbot. If the map does not already exist in the archive (listing can be found by typing sheepbot maplist or viewed online), you can then type 'sheepbot newmap mapfilename' in a private message to sheepbot. If you want to replace a map you have created, just private message sheepbot after you have DCC'ed the map and it will be manually moved.

Use sheepbot mapcount for current count.

This is a function for the power-user, those people that like to customize every possible game detail. It's rigid, but you're a power-user!

The format is: spawn -gametype [strict/tournament/open] -mines [no/yes] -ai [yes/yesAdv/no] -delay [0-30] -timelimit [-1/0-60] -maxplayers [1-16] -password [password] -map [mapname] ('sheepbot help spawn' for help)

Example: sheepbot spawn -gametype strict -mines no -ai yes -delay 0 -timelimit -1 -maxplayers 4 -password spawny -map chew toy

This is an 'enhanced' random map function. Instead of picking from 4000+ maps, only maps of a certain type are selected.

Example: sheepbot start joust will pick a random map from the joust maps in the collection.

Start collections:

1x1 (23 maps) - Small maps for 1v1 action.

acro (140 maps) - Maps by Acro.

battle (8 maps) Open - Block enclosed maps for intense game battles.

berz (10 maps) - Famous-maker maps by Berserkir from Bolo.

bl (31 maps) - Famous-maker maps by Black Lighting from Bolo.

chew (45 maps) - Famous-maker maps by Puppy-love or Black-Flag? from Bolo.

cloud (205 maps) - Maps by Cloud-Wane.

geo (62 maps) Open - Geographical maps modeled after actual locations (Japan, for example).

joust (20 maps) Open - "Jousts" are for games that are free-for-all and don't follow the normal goal of controlling all the refueling bases at the end.

maze (21 maps) - Maps with mazes.

miller (60 maps) - Famous-maker maps by Miller from Bolo.

nova (152 maps) - Maps by Nova.

oscar (21 maps) - Maps by Oscar from Bolo/Winbolo.

q (91 maps) - Maps by Q-mandabomb.

race (11 maps) - Maps where the objective is to get to the bases first to win.

slug (75 maps) - Famous-maker maps by Sluggo from Bolo.

ulfilas (46 maps) - Famous-maker maps by Ulfilas from Bolo.

To look and which maps are included in a collection, use the command: sheepbot maplist collection (change "collection" to "joust" etc.). Collections will start as Strict games, unless otherwise noted above.
